Outline
This model attaches to trainees’ arms and enables trainees to exercise IM and SC injection techniques and develop communication skills with patients during the exercise.
- As special silicone rubber is used for the skin, it has a similar appearance, texture, and puncture sensation to that of a living body and gives the exercise a realistic feel.
- The acromion can be palpated, and the technique to determine the puncture site for IM/SC injection can be exercised.
- By using a different material for the SC injection site than the others, the realistic feel of pinching subcutaneous tissue can be reproduced.
